Canalp completed his undergraduate education at Yıldız Technical University Mechanical Engineering in 2008 and completed his graduate education on “MSc Management and Entrepreneurship” in the UK.

Canalp started working in 2011 at Ford Otosan. During 2019-2020, he represented Ford Otosan in Silicon Valley, at the World Economic (WEF) Autonomous and Urban Mobility Space; and he wrote a white paper on Autonomous Movement of Goods.

He served as the Smart Mobility Leader between February 2019 and February 2022, and he recently he is assigned as the Innovation and New Ventures Leader.
