Dr. Ali Görçin is a faculty member of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Department in Yıldız Technical University, since 2016. Same year, he was appointed as the VP of Test&Evaluation in TUBITAK BILGEM (Scientific and Technological Research Instution of Turkey, Informatics and Information Security Research Center).  He carries his duty as the President of BILGEM since the last quarter of 2020.

After completing his Ph.D. in the field of telecommunications at the University of South Florida, he has undertaken roles such as research engineer, system engineer and product development officer in large companies and enterprises in the telecom field between 2006-2016. Before that, he worked at national and international projects within TUBITAK for five and a half years, after completing his undergraduate education at Istanbul Technical University.
