ITIR COŞKUN
Itir Coskun is working as an Innovation Engineer as a part of the Fast Prototyping team at SWARCO. She focuses on new trends in the mobility field in order to develop future-proof solutions in the context of ITS. She especially works in the areas of CCAM, MaaS, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Multi-modal and Sustainable Transport. Her current activities involve managing fast prototyping projects on mobility management and representing SWARCO Solution Center in multiple publicly funded projects. Before joining SWARCO, she has worked at EIT Urban Mobility where she advised partner institutions on relevant programs in the areas of innovation. She especially put effort in supporting Turkish partners’ involvement in European Funded Projects.
After graduating from the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the Technical University of Istanbul, Itir was granted a full scholarship from DAAD-TEV for her master’s studies. She studied Transportation Systems at the Technical University of Munich. During her studies, her main focus areas were Intelligent Transportation Systems, Travel Demand Management and C-ITS. She is still involved in academic activities at the Technical University of Munich. Both in her career and her studies, she took part in many interdisciplinary projects and continues to learn and share knowledge internationally. Fluent in Turkish, English and German, Itir is especially passionate to take part in shaping future mobility.
